Sinith Sittirak

Sinith Sittirak is a lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. She is a feminist and environmentalist who has authored Prostitution and Development in Thailand, The Rise of Thai Television (1950-1957). Her most recent publication is Daughters of Development: Women in the Changing Environment (1999). She is currently doing a PhD in Women's Studies at the University of Victoria, Wellington, on reclaiming the voices of rural women in Thailand.
