Spinifex Press has received some funding from the Publishing Industry Export Scheme, jointly sponsored by the Australian Publishers Association and the Federal Department of Communications and the Arts for developing an electronic network for small, independent, women-centred and women-focused publishing houses in the Asia Pacific region. We would like to take this opportunity to network with the feminist publishing houses in this region. As a beginning we are putting up some information about the publishing houses we already know of. We have talked about some of their books and would be happy to hear about similar publishing houses operating from the same region.
