Biography

Associate Professor Anna Gibbs teaches Writing in the School of Communication Arts at the University of Western Sydney. Her research interests include contemporary writing, writing and new media, fictocriticism, psychoanalytic theory and effect, emotion and the senses in the cultural field. She is currently working on a book on Mimesis, and a collaborative project on the power of the image.

Alison Tilson is a film scriptwriter and has written film scripts for The Drover's Wife (1984), High Heels (1985), An Ordinary Woman (1989), Road to Nhill (1997) and Japanese Story (2003).
