Biography
Sue Fitchett lives on Waiheke Island (New Zealand). Her publications include Palaver Lava Queen (AUP, 2004); Charts & Soundings; Some Small Navigation Aids with photographer Jane Zusters (Spiral/Spinifex 1999); Drawing Together with Janet Charman & Marina Bachmann (Spiral 1985). She was co-editor of Eat These Sweet Words, the lesbian volumn of The New Zealand Anthology of Lesbian & Gay Poetry (Giant 1999). Her poems, short fiction and articles have appeared in various journals, anthologies and selections. Sue was the Louis Johnson Bursar in 2001/2002, and has been a placegetter or received commendations in a number of national and international competitions

Jane Zusters is a painter and a photographer who lives in Christchurch.  Her painting Renaissance Refuge won the Tokoroa Art Award in 1988. She has had numerous exhibitions, run workshops and been the recipient of significant arts grants. She worked with Sue Fitchett on Charts & Soundings; Some Small Navigation Aids (Spiral/Spinifex, 1999).
