Biography

Sue Hardisty is a historian who has lived and worked in Australia, Germany and New Zealand. Her book Thanks Girls and Goodbye: The Story of the Australian Women's Land Army was the first book to recognise the work women did in the agricultural sector during World War II. She has worked in business, publishing, academia and at the National War Museum in Canberra.
